The Best Man for the Job

I like Trump a lot! When he first won the GOP nomination I was not certain that he was the best choice. After seeing how things have played since, I am convinced that Donald Trump is absolutely the best person alive today for the job. His practical experience and positive attitude more than compensate for any personality quirk that some may find annoying.

My concept of government is simple: individuals come together and form a government so they can combine resources and accomplish things together that they could not accomplish as separate individuals. A proper "government" is a synergism that multiplies the resources and efforts of individuals. 

However, when the government steps into issues that can be handled perfectly well by the individual, then the government has gone too far. In other words, the best government is the smallest and least intrusive government possible. Donald Trump is actively working to restore the rights of each American and tip the scale of justice in favor of the individual.

The contrast between Donald Trump's high regard for each individual and Joe Biden's complete disregard of each of us is perfectly exemplified by their statements concerning the recent attack upon the two law enforcement officers in California. Trump called for the swift and certain punishment of the guilty party. Biden, on the other hand, called for restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens to own firearms. Biden has clearly shown that he has little or no regard for the individual. To Joe Biden, "American Citizens" are nothing more than fodder to feed his own pocketbook and maniacal ego!

Donald Trump values freedom. He understands that the rights of each individual are the only possible basis for establishing a fair, and just, government. He also understands that with freedom comes responsibility. It is neither fair nor just, to punish an entire population for the transgressions of a single person.

If you believe as I do, then be certain to cast your ballot in the coming election. Donald Trump deserves our support!

Not the most beautiful place to awaken, but it was nice to have hot coffee waiting for me! Spent last night in the parking lot of a small truck stop in the town of Riesel. It sounds much worse than it was. The Casita has blackout coverings over the windows and is insulated well enough that little sound from outside gets through. And, of course, it was quite nice to walk inside the truck stop this morning and find fresh coffee ready and waiting. We had looked for a more aesthetically pleasing spot, including one rather long, after dark tour of a series of narrow gravel roads. The roads cut between crops of corn and sorghum that seemed to tower over the FJ, Once I had started down the road, there was no place wide enough to turn the FJ and Casita around.  Our luck held and we wound around and came out back in Otto, where we had started.
